Mid Century Vintage Wooden Toy Box, Circa 1950’s “Star of the Circus” Made by Modern Crafts, St. Louis MO – 30″w x 14.5″d x 12.5″h – VG

This nifty wooden toy chest was made by Modern Crafts Company of St. Louis Missouri, Circa 1950's. It features Circus animals, painted in red and black on the sides, lid and front of the toy chest. It measures 30" wide x 14.5" deep x 12.5" high. It's in Very Good condition with some evidence of age and use. There are numerous small scratches on the front and top of the toy chest and the clear coat has worn thin on the lid from repeated opening and closing of the lid. (see photos) The interior is in very good condition, also having numerous scratches from previous use. The hinges which secure the lid have wear from repeated use (see photos). The painted decoration has areas where the paint has been rubbed from use (see photos). Overall, this toy chest is in very good condition and has a lot of life left in it! Great find!
