Vintage brass horse’s ass belt buckle! Weird & fun!

Well, what can we say about this one? We've seen a few similar ones over the years, but have never been able to find a reason or story behind them. Coming from a long line of farmers, I can only suppose this is a bit of an inside joke, in that before tractors, farmers spent their whole day on wagons, guiding plows, etc. staring at this particular end of the horse.

Discovered in a dusty flea market booth. We've left this buckle exactly as we found it. Has a little crud and/or discoloration, which you can leave alone for a true vintage look, or polish to a high shine with some Brasso in only a few minutes.
