Description
Very old bar spoon with wooden handle.
Why the hole? This type of spoon is used to remove olives, cocktail onion, cherries, etc. from the jar. The hole allows the juice to drain quickly and easily, preventing the juice from muddying the cocktail. For some reason these are rarely seen these days. Some bartenders use a fork, but that pierces the item, ruining both the texture of it and allowing more juices to escape.
So get this great spoon and do it right!
Approximately 5" long.
