Description
This vintage "Miracle Power Oil" self-piercing oil can spout is in great shape, and a must-have for any oil or auto memorabilia collector.
What is it you ask? Well, kids, back in the old days, oil and other lubricant products came in big cans that resembled over-sized soup cans. Initially they were just opened with the old church-key style can openers. Then some clever person came up with these spouts. You simply placed the spout on the edge of the can, then pushed the sharp bit you see on the back through the lid. The oil then poured neatly through the spout and into the engine. Oil companies quickly started putting their name on these spouts and giving them away as useful advertising pieces.
Used, but in great shape. Came from a farm estate sale in central Kentucky.
